Samples
Samples of all our wedding invitation designs are available to order and are limited to two per customer due to the high volume of requests.
The cost of samples is credited back to the client on any subsequent stationery order made, up to the value of two samples only. The cost of samples will be credited back to the client in their interim invoice.
Requests for more than two samples will only be accepted at the discretion of Pink and Blue. In this instance the amount credited back to the client on any subsequent stationery order will not exceed the value of two samples.
Samples are available for the personal use of clients and on the understanding that the sample will not be copied whole or in part or in any way by either you or a third party. Infringement of copyright will be vigorously pursued
Ordering
Space in the design diary is offered to clients on a first come, first served basis and clients should contact the studio to check availability in the design diary for their wedding.
Clients are offered a delivery date based upon availability in the diary and upon the client's acceptance of this date, Pink and Blue will provisionally pencil them into the design diary.
Provisional bookings are held for up to 14 days and a place in the design diary is guaranteed only upon receipt of a completed order form and a 50% deposit. After 14 days Pink and Blue reserves the right to cancel any provisional bookings which have not been confirmed by way of an order form and deposit and offer the date to an alternate client.
Orders for all the stationery items you require should be placed at the same time to secure space in the design diary. Whilst we would endeavour to accommodate your needs, we cannot guarantee space in the design diary at a later date should you wish to subsequently add to your order. Where you do not have exact numbers verified yet for your wedding day items, approximate realistic numbers should be used and these may be adjusted prior to the preparation of your final invoice.
Wording for guest inserts, place cards and table plans will only be accepted as a word document via email. Wording for any stationery where the standard example wording isn't used will only be accepted as a word document via email.
Proofs
All preliminary proofs are provided as jpegs via email. Any changes required should be emailed to the studio, so that amended proofs may be produced and these amended preliminary proofs will be emailed to the client for review. It is the responsibility of the client to check all the preliminary proofs to ensure that all details, spelling and grammar are correct.
Once the client has approved all jpeg proofs and they have confirmed no further changes are required, hard copy final proofs will be produced.
If the client subsequently requests any changes to wording upon receipt of the hardcopy proofs, a new set of proofs will be produced for the client to sign off on. Pink and Blue will not commence production of an order without a signed hard copy proof and therefore where amendments are made to proofs, a new set of hardcopy proofs will always be made. These amended proofs incur a print re-run fee of £5 per proof.
Proofs are sent out to the client by Royal Mail recorded delivery and require a signature upon delivery. Pink and Blue would advise clients returning their proofs to the studio to also use recorded delivery and to get proof of postage.
Amendments made after final proof approval will incur a fee if production of your stationery has commenced.
Lead times
Lead times for wedding invitations, evening invitations and rsvps are generally 8-12 weeks from receipt by Pink and Blue of approved proofs.
Lead times for remaining stationery items are generally 4 weeks from the receipt of the details for wedding day stationery.
Lead times are dependant upon the co-operation of the client in submitting information to Pink and Blue in a timely manner and by the dates set out in the production schedule.
Lead times may fluctuate and those quoted are subject to change. Clients will be given more accurate timings upon ordering.
Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit equal to the total order value is required with stationery orders before work can commence on proofs and to guarantee a space in the design diary.

If the Pink and Blue is prevented from carrying out their obligations in the above circumstances, Pink and Blue will notify the client in writing. If Pink and Blue is still prevented from carrying out their obligations 4 weeks from the date such notice was sent, then either party may give written notice to the other cancelling the Agreement. Clients may choose the delivery method they wish and deliveries fees are detailed in our price list. Delivery fees are per dispatch and each dispatched part is fully insured and trackable.
Pink and Blue reserves the right to use the most appropriate method of delivery for your order and also reserves the right to use any alternate suitable courier such as Royal Mail Special Delivery if this is deemed more appropriate for the size and weight of your order.
Recycling
Where possible, materials received by Pink and Blue from suppliers such as cardboard boxes, bubble wrap or packing fillers that are clean and in good condition, are reused to package client orders. Where packaging materials are not suitable to reuse they are always recycled. If you object to your order being packaged using recycled materials please inform the studio.
Pink and Blue endeavour to keep wastage to a minimum and where offcuts of card and paper cannot be used they are recycled appropriately.
Cancellations and Returns
Orders are produced by the Pink and Blue based on the wording provided by the client and using the hard copy proofs signed off on by the client. It is sole responsibility of the client to provide correct information and quantities to Pink and Blue and for the client to check the hardcopy proofs are correct prior to production. No refunds or reprints will be made if items produced are not as required but are as signed off on in the hard copy proofs
A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable upon booking.
The client should inspect the order immediately upon receipt and should notify the Pink and Blue by email within 48 hours of delivery if any part of the order is damaged or incorrect. If the client fails to do so the client shall be deemed to have accepted the order.
Where a claim of defect or damage is made the relevant items should be returned by the client to the Pink and Blue. The client shall be entitled to a full refund (including delivery costs) plus any return postal charges if the items are in fact defective. In the event of a claim, settlement will be limited to the value of the goods defectively produced and will in no way extend to consequential loss, howsoever caused.
Refusal of Transaction / Services We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun
Product representation
Pink and Blue has endeavoured to represent all stationery collections and accessories accurately.
However, there are limitations to how colours and materials used in our stationery appear within the website. Therefore, we would always recommend that clients order a sample prior to placing in order.
Variations
Due to the handmade nature of stationery items there will be slight variations between items, these are not faults. Similarly, card colours may vary very slightly between batches, these are not deemed faults and arise from the normal production of card at the paper mill. We will always use the same card from the same batch to avoid this where possible.
If for any reason materials used to produce stationery become unavailable, Pink and Blue reserve the right to substitute them with suitable alternatives and would discuss this with the client prior to making the substitution.
Safety
Stationery collections and accessories are not intended for use by children due to the choking hazards presented by the small embellishments used in our designs. Please keep them out of the reach of children.
