Are samples of wedding invitations available?

Yes- samples of all our wedding invitations are available to order online and we offer free delivery for each sample. The price of each sample is £4 for wedding window invitations and wedding wallets and £3 for flat invitations, the cost of any samples you purchase will be credited towards any order you make, up to the value of two samples.  Unfortunately due to the high volume of requests for samples we have to limit the number of samples to two per customer.

None of the wedding wallet designs seem to have a space for the guests' names on the invitation.

With wedding wallet designs the font and it's layout are very much part of the design and the names of the guests aren't included in this.  So, you're probably wondering where you will include your guests' names.  Wedding wallets all come double enveloped and the guests' names to whom the invitation is extended are written on the inner handmade pearlescent envelope and then the address and stamps are placed on the outer envelope.

How do I order my stationery?

Once you've decided just which design you love, contact us to check availability in the design diary and to request an order form. The design diary becomes booked up quickly and therefore it is advised that you order your stationery as early you can to avoid disappointment.

Should I place an order for all my stationery items at the same time?

Yes - even if you still don't have the wording or details for wedding day stationery like order of service yet. This way we can block off time in the production diary for you. Placing orders of items separately could result in the design diary already being booked up by the time you come to order your other stationery items - which would be hugely disappointing.

I only want to order wedding invitations can I still place an order?

Yes.  The complete stationery ranges offer a range of items to allow you to co-ordinate your wedding as much or as little as you want.  You can order any as many or as little stationery items as you wish.

Will I get proofs of my stationery?

Yes once your order and 50% deposit have been received you will be emailed PDF proofs of your wedding invitations, evening invitations and RSVPs within 3-5 days.  These will need to be checked carefully and approved by you before production of your order can begin.

There don't seem to be any font choices available.  Why is this?

Fonts have been carefully pre-selected to complement the rest of the design.  However, if you really don't love the font we've pre-chosen just let us know and we'll work with you to try and find a suitable alternative.

I'd prefer to use wording I have written myself for my invitations.  Do I have to choose one of the wording options or can use my own?

The wording options offered are the most commonly used wording and simply examples. If you'd like to use any other alternative wording just email the studio with a word document containing your wording and that's what we'll use!

I have so much to organise for my wedding - how will I know how my order is going?

When we receive your order form, a production schedule will be put together.  This will details the dates invoices will be sent, dates information is required from you and delivery dates.  We will be in contact with you regularly during the production process anyway to keep you up to date with how your order is going and when you can expect deliveries.  We will contact you each time we need any information from you so you don't have to worry about having to remember to send us wordings or details.

How is my stationery delivered and how long will it take for my order to be made?

Orders are dispatched in two parts; ‘pre-wedding stationery’ in one consignment and all other ‘wedding day stationery’ items are dispatched together in a second consignment closer to your wedding.  Generally the lead time for ‘pre-wedding stationery’ delivery is 4-6 weeks from proof approval. Lead times can fluctuate and we will be able to give you an accurate timescale when you place your order

You will be asked to provide a date ‘wedding day stationery required by’ on the order form – this is usually 7-10 days before your wedding.  We use Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery or City Link couriers for your stationery as it is insured and guaranteed. This will need to be signed for upon delivery and therefore please provide us with a daytime weekday address where someone will be able to accept the parcel.

Do I have to pay for all my stationery order in full when I order?

To secure a place in the design diary and for work to commence on your order a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of your total stationery order will be required.  The remaining balance is then due in two parts:  If you've ordered just invitations then you will be invoiced for the remaining balance 6 weeks before these are due to be delivered.  If  you've order invitations and  wedding day items then you will be invoiced  6 weeks before your invitations are delivered  - bringing the balance paid up to the value of the wedding stationery- and  then the final invoice will become payable  6 weeks before your final items are delivered.  For orders where the value is under £100 or required less than 6 weeks away the full amount is payable upon ordering.
